Protest Against Dams on the Vrbas River
On March 14, 2005, in Bosnia, local peoples gathered at the main city square and gathered over 3,000 signatures to protest proposed construction of two large dams upstream of Banja Luka. The Coalition for the Protection of Vrbas River marched with over 150 people to city hall and the residences of Government and National Assembly of Republic of Srpska to hand-deliver requests for referendum.
