Hong Kong University Student Protests: Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong, January 2016

The image shows the amassing of Hong Kong University students to initiate a boycott of lectures as a form of protest against the changes to the university's governing council.
Protests were initiated by the appointment of Arthur Li Kwok-Cheung to the position of university council chairman by Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying.
The students involved in the protest request that at a minimum of half the seats in the council are filled by university members. They also call for the appointed of the chairman by the council and not the chief executive.
