Taiwan LGBT Pride parade in Taipei, October 2016
Participants of Taiwan LGBT Pride 2016 gathered on Kaidagelan Boulevard right in front of the Presidential office building, waiting for the opening of the parade in the afternoon of 29 October. It is claimed to be the largest event among all the LGBT activities in Asia. The decorations of Taiwan's National Day on the early October could still be seen in this photograph, involving a signboard written, 'Taiwan is great because of you' in Chinese. Most people dressed or carried something rainbow to show their support for gender equality. The colorful flags indicate the certain groups such as political party that some of them belong to.
