Participants of Taiwan LGBT Pride 2016 gathered on Kaidagelan Boulevard right in front of the Presidential office building, waiting for the opening of the parade in the afternoon of 29 October. It is claimed to be the largest event among all the LGBT activities in Asia. The decorations of Taiwan's National Day on the early October could still be seen in this photograph, involving a signboard written, 'Taiwan is great because of you' in Chinese. Most people dressed or carried something rainbow to show their support for gender equality. The colorful flags indicate the certain groups such as political party that some of them belong to.

Kevlar Helmet worn by police officer during hail of gunfire in which suspect was killed. Officer sustained an eye injure, but the helmet saved the police officer's life, according to official statement by Danny Brooks, special agent in charge of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Orlando bureau.

On July 30, 2015 Yishai Schlissel, an Ultra-Orthodox Jewish man stabbed six participants in a Jerusalem LGBTQ pride parade. Yishai Schlissel had recently been released from prison after serving a 10 year sentence for stabbing participants in the 2005 Jerusalem pride parade.

Individuals protesting Kiev’s June 6th LGBTQ/I Pride “March for Equality” attacked some of the 2,000 Police officers that were deployed to protect the event on Saturday. Despite the violence, holding the march with police support was a positive step for the country which remains one of the most dangerous places for LGBTQ/I individuals in Europe. Last years’ march was cancelled because of the police’s refusal to protect the marchers.

Several people were arrested in Moscow after organizing a small display of LGBTQ/I pride that included two men driving around on a four wheeled vehicle waving a pride flag. Opponents of the display of pride intervened and attacked the LGBTQ/I activists before the police intervened in the disturbance and arrested the activists.
